Q.
What is special about Heart and Hustle Basketball Academy compared to other basketball training courses or other sports camps? |
A.
HHBA has developed a core training system for all ages and abilities. The camps utilize training and coaching techniques developed for professional and college-level programs. In short, the players who attend our academy learn more and become better players. We believe that smaller class sizes and longer periods of time with the campers, gives them time to digest what they’ve learned that week, practice and come back the next week to learn more.

Where do you run your Training Camps? |
A.
HHBA has partnered up with Berean Academy in Lutz, Fl. To offer campers a state of the art facility that is 6 months old! All of our training camps, clinics and dinner banquets will be run out of the gymnasium on campus. Believe me, this gym is gorgeous and you will be pleased with the learning environment.

Q.
What is the coach to player ratio? |
A.
The ratio is usually about 10 student campers to every one seasoned coach. We often have additional help: former players at all levels may be called in for a session or two. |
Q.
Will each student camper get individual time with the coaches? |
A.
This is what separates HHBA with other camps. Our main objective is to season and nurture each player so they can reach their full potential. Individual evaluations will be done in each level class, so every player will be aware of his/her strengths and weaknesses. |

Q.
Does my son/daughter only go to each level once? |
A.
Goodness no! These camps were designed to be used several times over. It takes hours of practice and demonstration to fully grasp the fundamentals of basketball; therefore, we encourage players to use each level several times to really see what they can achieve. |

What qualifications do HHBA coaches have? |
A.
HHBA has compiled a great group of coaches for our Academy. We have former NCAA Division 1, 2 and 3 players, as well as, former and current high school coaches. Every coach at HHBA shares the same goal and that is to teach the fundamentals of the game while using positive reinforcement and detailed demonstration to teach each player to become the best they can be. |

A.

Although it is encouraged not to, we understand that life can take you by surprise sometimes! It will not put your child behind to miss a session because our coaches are so hands on, we will strive to spend a few extra minuets with that player when they return to camp as to catch them up! |
